Brewing Instruction

Traditional Method (Authentic Kahwa Style):

  • Measure: Use 1 teaspoon (about 2 grams) of Wah Kashmiri Kahwa per cup (200 ml).
  • Boil: Bring water to a gentle boil (around 90°C–95°C).
  • Steep: Add the tea leaves and simmer for 3–4 minutes to allow the spices and saffron to release their aroma.
  • Strain: Pour into a cup and strain the leaves.
  • Serve: Add a few slivers of almond and a strand of saffron for an authentic Kashmiri touch.

Quick Brewing (Everyday Cup):

  • Add 1 teaspoon of tea to hot water at 85°C–90°C.
  • Steep for 2–3 minutes and strain.
  • Sweeten with honey or brown sugar if desired.

For a refreshing twist, try this tea chilled or iced — it makes a rejuvenating summer drink with lemon and mint.
