Harvested during July, when growth slows under dry conditions and low humidity, the leaves develop concentrated character within a narrow seasonal window. The brownish dry leaves with abundant golden tips brew into a yellow, semi-transparent liquor with a bright coppery infusion. The cup expresses honeyed sweetness with a well-rounded muscatel finish and layered ripe fruit notes reminiscent of red wine. Smooth and free from astringency, the tea leaves a long, pleasant, and lingering aftertaste.
