Aarti Khanna’s journey with tea began long before ArtTeas took shape. Raised amidst the tea plantations of Assam, she grew up surrounded by the rhythm of gardens and the craft of tea-making. Her father, Late Arun Indranand Khanna, was a respected tea planter known for his deep understanding of cultivation and manufacturing.

Carrying forward this legacy, Aarti built her own career in tea tasting, sourcing, and distribution, developing a keen eye for quality and a deep appreciation for the nuances of Indian teas.

The Birth of ArtTeas

During the global lockdown, like many, Aarti found herself reconnecting with a long-lost passion — watercolour painting. What began as a personal creative outlet soon evolved into something larger.
