For the Perfect Cup

Without Milk

  • Use fresh water – Heat water to 100°C for the best infusion.
  • Steep the tea – Place 1 teabag in the cup and pour hot water over it.
  • Brew patiently – Let it steep for 3 minutes.
  • Remove and enjoy – Serve hot.

With Milk

  • Use fresh water – Heat water to 100°C.
  • Prepare the cup – Place 1 tea bag in a cup.
  • Pour water – Pour ¾ cup of hot water over the tea bag.
  • Steep – Let it steep for 3–4 minutes.
  • Add milk – Add ¼ cup of hot milk and sugar to taste.
  • Finish – Remove the tea bag and enjoy hot.

Pro Tip: Best brewed with milk for a traditional kadak chai profile.
