From the untouched wilderness of Santing Mountain in Southern Manipur, comes a rare and soulful brew — Forest Pick Manipur Wild Toasty Green Tea. Handcrafted from naturally growing wild tea trees thriving at 3,000 feet above sea level, this tea embodies purity in its truest form.
These wild tea plants are “more than organic”, having never encountered fertilizers, pesticides, or chemicals of any kind. Nurtured by the forest’s own biodiversity, they flourish in harmony with nature — absorbing minerals from deep, nutrient-rich mountain soil that give the tea its distinct freshness and strength.
Each leaf is handpicked, gently withered indoors, and pan-fried by skilled local artisans, preserving the integrity of the whole leaf and locking in its natural aroma. The result is a tea that’s clean, bright, and full of life, offering a truly wild experience in every sip.
What is Wild Tea?
Wild teas are made from tea trees (camellia Sinensis ) which are grown wild in the forest. Unlike conventional tea estate or cultivated tea bushes, wild teas are ungroomed and unfurnished by any commercial activity. The plants are not owned or managed by any commercial entity. They grow much bigger and taller, production is much lesser, picking is much more difficult because of the terrain & tree size and most WILD TEA are hand crafted.
Aroma, Flavor & Texture
Expect fresh, vegetal notes layered with a gentle grassy brightness and subtle hints of wildflowers and earthiness. The mouthfeel is smooth yet lively, with a delicate body that lingers and finishes with a light, crisp astringency. The liquor glows a vivid golden-yellow, clear and radiant — a reflection of its natural origin.
