Gopaldhara Darjeeling Second Flush Classic Muscatel Black Tea is a traditional whole leaf second flush tea made from fine mixed bushes grown between 3000 and 4000 feet at the Gopaldhara Tea Estate. Carefully plucked as two leaves and a bud, the tea is fully oxidized to bring out its distinctive Darjeeling muscatel character. The brownish-black leaves with random tips brew into a dark orange, semi-transparent liquor with a bright coppery infusion. The cup expresses classic muscatel depth layered with woody tones and a natural sweetness that defines the second flush season. Medium-bodied and smooth, it finishes with a pleasant and lingering aftertaste without any astringency.
